“For me, this pilgrimage was everything I needed. After some intense spiritual experiences I had previously before the pilgrimage, I was feeling scattered and ungrounded. Throughout the pilgrimage, I began to feel more anchored in my own energy and inner knowing. The conversations, the people I shared the journey with, and the temples themselves all contributed to a sense of integration and steadiness. In the temples, I felt called to start creating ceremony and to honor the power of presence and the use of my voice. The experience was deeply impactful, and I feel profoundly grateful to have received it.”

“Egypt completely healed me. Before I was a mess, I was in trouble, I was not okay, I was a very fractured human. I didn’t know who I was or where I was. Egypt helped me shed all the sadness, everything came out that needed to be healed. Everything was brought to the surface and alchemized in the fires of Egypt. I had an amazing experience on our first day, when we went to the private access Isis Temple without any guards trying to stifle what we were needing to do. I became completely undone by the love of God Goddess. I’m so glad the divine mother did what she needed to do through me at that moment. I got a baptism by fire. The divine mother’s presence came upon me and I started shaking, trembling, crying, and sweating profusely. I ended up crying for 20 minutes straight and I surrendered space and time, with me and the divine mother, presence of god, all over me, in me, around me, burning up all the stuff in me that was time to alchemize. Later I interpreted it as a womb clearing. All the emotions, all the things that have been stored in my system for so long. It was a beautiful experience because I was communing with Isis. It was mother Mary and Mary Magdalene, divine mother, as Isis. The Egyptian version of her. I was meeting her in a new way. She kept telling me to go lower - I put my head on the altar that we were standing around. She completely brought me to my knees, I’ve never felt God like that before. She kept saying “Lower. You are in the Holy of Holies.” I was before the throne of God type of energy. “Humble yourself and go as low as you possibly can”. It was a complete surrender, and I let go. The presence of god had come on me before, but I always tried to control it or resist it out of fear.This time I surrendered, I let go, and I let her have her way with me. I let her do what she was going to do because there was no controlling it anyways. It was cool because when I was down there on the ground on the earth directly it was all dust and sand, there was no water, but I created so much waters - tears and sweat - that there was a pool below me. Face in the earth. I was soaking wet in mud. Later upon reflection, I realized those were Isis’ tears for her beloved, crying for her beloved. I was feeling her grief and sorrow, as well as my own. For the longing of the connection for the beloved. That deep longing for mystical union and true love. This was a big turning point and purification. I was fragmented, but after Egypt I feel like I’m whole now, I’m back in my body, I know who I am, everything came full circle. Spirit did the work in me that they needed to do”
